About Rebecca

Rebecca Bailey is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, supervised by Dr. Wendy Bates and Megan Shelton, LPC-S. Rebecca earned her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Texas Woman's University and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas A&M University. She has worked in non-profit and inpatient mental health settings with individuals, families, and group populations. 

Rebecca approaches therapy from a holistic lens, striving to understand and respect her clients’ unique background, cultural context, and belief system. She utilizes eclectic approaches to best meet the needs of her clients, including but not limited to—Person Centered Therapy, Relational Cultural Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Therapies. She seeks to facilitate a non-judgmental, warm, and equal space in therapy. She believes in the power of a therapeutic relationship that is collaborative, supportive, and authentic.

Rebecca's areas of clinical interest include trauma, relational issues, anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem, grief, and identity issues. 

Fun facts: Rebecca enjoys being a dog mom to her chihuahua mix Maria, spending time with family and friends, and exploring nature. She is passionate about connecting with her clients, helping them empower themselves, and supporting them on their journey towards healing.
